Tiffin is delighted to admit girls as well as boys into the Sixth Form, allowing the fantastic benefits and quality of Tiffin Sixth Form to be delivered within a mixed environment. We aim to admit around 100 new students each year to the Sixth Form, and we therefore expect about 50 per year to be girls, giving at least 100 girls in the Sixth Form overall, and representing approximately 20-25% of the total number of Sixth Formers.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening will be on Thursday 10 October 2019 when the academic and extra-curricular opportunities on offer at Tiffin's Sixth Form will be fully explained. Our website highlights the great opportunities at Tiffin, you can also follow developments on Twitter@Tiffin_School.

Evensong at Jesus College, Cambridge

8 March 2019 by

At the end of January, the Chamber Choir spent an afternoon in Cambridge, visiting various colleges and singing Evensong with the Chapel Choir of Jesus College. After lunch at St John’s, we had a very informative talk about Choral Scholarships in Cambridge from their Director of Music, Andrew Nethsinga. Following a short walk around Cambridge and a look at King’s College and its famous chapel, we went back to St John’s for tea and a performance of acapella songs by some of the current choral scholars, which inspired an impromptu Tiffinians rehearsal later before our joint Evensong rehearsal with Jesus Choir. The repertoire included Sumsion in A and Elgar’s Light of the World. It was a fantastic opportunity for the boys to think about the possibilities of university choral scholarships, and a lovely chance to catch up with a number of Tiffinians currently living in Cambridge.
