Tiffin is delighted to announce that from September 2019, we will admit girls as well as boys into the Sixth Form, allowing the fantastic benefits and quality of Tiffin Sixth Fom to be delivered within a mixed environment. Girls and boys currently in Year 10 are welcome to apply for places by filling in the online application form, which will be available on the website from June. We aim to admit around 80 new students each year to the Sixth Form, and we therefore expect about 40 per year to be girls, giving at least 80 girls in the Sixth Form overall, and representing approximately 20-25% of the total number of Sixth Formers.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening will be on Thursday 4 October 2018 when the academic and extra-curricular opportunities on offer at Tiffin's Sixth Form will be fully explained. Tiffin reach National Finals in UK-wide Maths Challenge

Congratulations to our Senior team in the Team Maths Challenge run by the UK Mathematics Trust.  In the recent Regional Final they achieved a perfect score of 180 out of 180, sailing through to the National Final in February.  The team consisted of Cameron Ruiz (U6), Jim Tse (L6), Hosouk Lee (L6) and Bemin Sheen (U6).  An incredible achievement, which they hope to match in the final!

Tiffin student gains place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain

Congratulations to Adam Meyer who has gained a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.  Adam auditioned successfully and was selected from thousands of applicants.  This year, Adam will perform in venues around the country in broadcast performances with world-renowned conductors.  This is an outstanding achievement.

Double World Champion Rower is Guest of Honour at Tiffin School Boat Club Dinner

The guest of honour at the Tiffin School Boat Club Dinner on Friday Night was double world champion rower Nathaniel Reilly O’Donnell. Nathaniel won Gold in the coxed pair in September this year at the World Championships in France and now has his sights set on the Rio Olympics.  He trains full time with the GB rowing squad.  He gave a captivating talk to the boat club giving a unique insight into the life and work of top oarsman.  The photo shows club vice-captain Matt Entwistle presenting Nathaniel with a token of our thanks.
